Report from Cathie Woolfrey
UNDER 17’S – Team Captain Milly Soanes – 2nd in age group behind NVH
This was a fantastic team effort headed up by our captain, coming out of her comfort zone to compete in the Discus, Triple Jump and Long Jump. Along with the ever-obliging Jessica Hoar; competing in the 800m, 1500m and 200m and Anna Craggs; high jump, triple jump and 100m.
And for the First Year U17’s competing in their first match at this age group:
Megan Madison: shot, discus, javelin
Zoe Carroll: hurdles, high jump, shot
Jess Hill: 800m, hurdles, javelin
Isabelle Nero: 300m A

fantastic results from you all. And a few Pb’s despite the awful weather
Then there is Lilly Norwood – who as a U15 is willing to compete an age up, not only did she win the 100m and 200m but she did it in style – running a Grade 1 and English school qualifying time of 12.6 in 100m and 200m – 26.4 (grade 1 is 26.3- so next time for that one Lily).
