The last word on the weekend brings some brilliant news from Saturday’s XC at Milton Keynes. The overall ladies team did indeed come in 6th place and now stand in fourth place but this result includes the junior races in which we were not very well represented.

Looking at the full results shows that the Senior Women came in 2nd place on the day and are now leading Division One after 2 rounds. This is a historic achievement as the club has never had a senior team at the top of the table in the Chiltern League. The Veteran ladies team are also at the top of the veteran table after an emphatic win that strengthens their position as they seek to retain the title earned in the last XC season.

Massive congratulations to all the ladies who ran so well in the first 2 rounds. Hopefully, we can stay at the top over the next three matches.
