Membership and Joining

Dacorum AC caters for all age groups, from year 5 and up.  We welcome new members so please do get in touch if you are thinking of joining.  The following information should help you:

  • Track and Field athletes can join from Year 5, though there is a waiting list for year 7 and below – to join the list fill in our contact form or email John Slack 
  •  For year 8 and above please get in touch with head coach Deb Keenleyside to discuss your options further
  • For Track and Field you will need to attend an induction for health and safety purposes before taking part, but you will be able to have a free trial session straight after your induction
  • Road Runners train on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Tuesday sessions are at a variety of locations from 6.15pm whilst the Thursday sessions start from the Jarman Park athletics track. Please arrive by 6.45pm. For details please fill in the contact form or email John Slack.

Joining our club will provide you with the following benefits:

  • Assistance to progress in your chosen event(s)
  • The opportunity to take part in competitions at local, regional and national level
  • Lower “affiliated athlete” entry fees at road races around the country
